摘要: Genetic analysis of yield and morphological traits has been carried out in Coffea arabica from a half-diallel including the parental lines. The trial was established west Cameroon with completely randomized single-tree plots. Observations included (four years), stem diameter, height number primaries. General combining abilities (GCA) specific (SCA) as heritabilities genetic correlations were estimated. A significant SCA variance observed for all traits. Morphological traits, plant primaries, genetically correlated to yield. hybrids were, on average, better performing than There no clear relationship between performance lines their general ability. Contribution seven sum squares shown be unequal studied one parent (Java) being far most interactive. This variation interactivity seemed related different levels residual heterozygosity among Indirect prediction using gave same value expected gain based cumulated over four years. multitrait indirect selection operated way GCA are concerned. application these results coffee breeding strategies involving hybrid is discussed.
