摘要: Despite a long history of related research, quantifying and verifying recharge is still major challenge. The combination comparison conceptually different methods has been recommended as strategy for evaluating estimates. In this article, estimates from water-table fluctuation (WTF) are combined with compared to the results spatially temporally discretized soil-water-balance model PROMET (processes radiation, mass energy transfer). As WTF rely on measurable variables, these two contrasting techniques allows improved assessment plausibility An enhanced approach presented. assumes that in case no recharge, there exists maximum possible potential decline any given groundwater level. primary conclusion excellent determining distributed regional-groundwater-recharge estimation approaches detecting inconsistencies available models. Recharge derived alone are, however, not suitable regional-scale due (1) their strong dependency local data, applicability which limited only very specific conditions, (2) sensitivity influences other than recharge.
