摘要: An ongoing strategy for cancer treatment is selective induction of apoptosis in over normal cells. N-thiolated β-lactams were found to induce DNA damage, growth arrest and cultured human However, whether these compounds have a similar effect vivo has not been studied. We report here that with the β-lactam L-1 caused significant inhibition tumor breast xenograft mouse model, associated damage vivo. These results suggest synthetic antibiotic hold great potential be developed as novel anti-cancer drugs.
