摘要: A set of monthly streamflow records is generated and analyzed to give a synthetic critical periods. Some characteristics these periods are derived, the mean standard deviation their values compared with appropriate for historical period. This procedure repeated three number different rivers by using variety generating techniques. study results allows comparison between techniques in regard both cost computer time ability synthesize droughts comparable those recorded historically. The appear be influenced relative aridity watershed size reservoir considered. In addition, some general conclusions can drawn regarding advisability studies design operation.
