摘要: This paper investigates the feasibility of utilising stator phase power signal to establish sensorless speed estimation schemes in wound rotor induction machines (WRIMs). To this end, authors derive and validate closed form expressions defining possible spectral content containing information. Based on these, two novel techniques are proposed: first enables supply frequency independent WRIM extended slip applications, while second facilitates a wide operating range for scalar controlled applications based sliding-window search spectrum. The proposed underpinned by dichotomous enabled processing algorithm shown deliver an increase attainable real-time rate without compromising accuracy. performance reported is assessed validated laboratory experiments.
