摘要: In order to grade objectively and characterize dysplastic precancerous esophageal epithelium its DNA content was measured by cytofluormetric methods compared normal cancerous epithelium. This yielded the following results. With transition of eipthelium from mild dysplasia severe finally in situ carcinoma, Feulgen-DNA values showed patterns characteristic a tetraploid population. They lacked prominent peaks which were usually observed with invasive carcinomas. Dominant near-tetraploid population definite tetraploid-octoploid populations or carcinoma. The mean significantly larger than lesser as well However, this not rule full blown It would appear that cytophotometric are analogous those previously skin uterine cervix.
