摘要: Mycobacterium chimaera is an opportunistic slowly growing non-tuberculous mycobacteriumof increasing importance due to the outbreak of cases associated with contaminated 3T heater-cooler device (HCD) extracorporeal membrane oxygenator (ECMO). The aim this study was evaluate effect pre-treating a surface Methylobacterium sp. CECT 7180 extract inhibit M. ECMO biofilm as well treatment after different dehydration times. Surface adherence, formation and were evaluated by estimating colony-forming units (CFU) per square centimeter characterizing amount covered area, thickness, cell viability, presence intrinsic autofluorescence at times using confocal laser scanning microscopy image analysis. We found that exposing inhibited development. This could be result proteins, such DNaK, trigger factor, xanthine oxidase. In conclusion, Methylobacteriumsp. inhibits Furthermore, used pre-treatment prior disinfection protocols for equipment mycobacteria least 96 h.
