摘要: THE synthetic analogue of methionine enkephalin, FK 33-824, exerts a long-lasting and potent analgesic effect in animals after systemic enteral administration1. In high doses it produces tolerance, cross-tolerance with morphine, dependence monkeys. Like β-endorphin, 33-824 akinaesia rats rabbits. All effects seen can be abolished by naloxone. We report here on the results first studies performed man (tolerance, electroencephalogram (EEG), endocrine profile plasma levels), as basis for future therapeutic studies.
