摘要: The topic of this chapter is cognitive impairment among elderly men and women. My attempt has been first to introduce some the complexities involved in conceptualizing deficits population, then proceed systematically identify prominent categories intellectual disturbances. In general, there are two broad divisions: those disorders that reversible, such as pseudodementia or effects treatable medical conditions, irreversible, Alzheimer’s disease Korsakoff’s syndrome.
