Grafting of magnesium and yttrium silylamides onto periodic mesoporous silica SBA-1

摘要: Mesoporous silica SBA-1 was grafted with hexane-soluble {Mg[N(SiHMe 2 ) ] } and Y[N(SiHMe 3 (THF) according to the heterogeneously performed silylamide route The vast portion of surface silanol groups is not accessible these bulky organometallic reagents. However, smaller-sized silylating reagents such as HN(SiHMe N(SiHMe are able pass small windows cage-like porous structure shown by homosilylation consecutive grafting. All inorganic-metalorganic hybrid materials were characterized powder X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, FTIR MAS NMR spectroscopy, nitrogen physisorption.
