摘要: Agelenidae interattraction ontogenesis simulation spider Aggregation is a prerequisite for transitions from solitary to social life. One evolutionary route sociality implies the maintenance of cohesion among juveniles. The study influence on mutual tolerance appears fundamental importance understanding transitions. Spiders are particularly relevant models address these questions. All spiders have transient gregarious phase prior their dispersal and species included within same genus. We characterized patterns aggregation during in Agelena labyrinthica. Our results showed that intensity spiderlings declined day emergence sixth week. developed an agent-based model implementing behavioural rules measured experimentally explore relative contribution ontogenetic shift behaviours observed spiders. Combining experimental theoretical approaches, we demonstrated relied modulation individual depending number conspecifics perceived locally decline with age variations strength occurring ontogenesis.
