摘要: The influence of various experimental parameters on the vertical deposition and structure formation colloidal crystals chemically patterned surfaces, with hydrophilic hydrophobic areas, was investigated. pattern dimensions range from about 4 to 400 microm, which is much larger than individual particle size (255 nm), control microscopic crystal shape rather influencing lattice geometry (as achieved in epitaxy). resolution selectivity were tested by varying concentration suspension, substrate withdrawing speed, orientation, wetting contrast between regions. evolution thickness respect further studied. Our results show that has a strong deposited number colloid layers quality. Better are obtained when lines stripe oriented parallel direction perpendicular. (defined as minimum feature particles can be deposited) depends increases lower average hydrophobicity substrate.
