摘要: The sensitivity of certain local medicinal herbs was evaluated against pathogenic Aeromonas hydrophila , Pseudomonas fluorescens and Edwardsiella tarda bacteria fish during the period from April 2001 to March 2002. A suspension freshly cultured experimental (2 x 10 7 CFU / ml) prepared 0.1 ml this spread over tryptic soya agar (TSA) plates. Then crude extract (0.1ml plate) each herb inoculated in middle plate detect response. herbal categorized as high, medium low inhibitory responded by observing clear zone inhibition. Fine high applied under vitro conditions tested. Twenty-one (80.76%), twenty-four (92.30%) twelve (46.15%) species tested showed antibacterial effect A. P. E. respectively. Among them, were 38.09% for inhibition P. 38.33% . However, collected bulb Allium sativum decoction obtained leaves Calotropis gigantea detected be most promising considering effectiveness with minimal concentration (MIC) among all Key words: Sensitivity; bacteria; extract; doi: 10.3329/bjvm.v2i1.1941 Bangl.
