摘要: A growing body of evidence suggests that childhood leukemia may be initiated in utero when lymphoid and myeloid cells are not fully differentiated particularly susceptible to malignant transformation. fixed effects meta-analysis examining the association between birth weight was conducted including 32 studies 16,501 cases all types (OL), 10,974 acute lymphoblastic (ALL), 1,832 (AML). The odd ratios (OR) for high with OL, ALL AML were 1.35 (95% CI: 1.24, 1.48), 1.23 1.15, 1.32), 1.40 1.11, 1.76), respectively, compared normal weight. Low associated overall leukemia, but (OR = 1.50; 95% 1.05, 2.13). Per 1000 g increase weight, OR OL 1.18 1.13, 1.23) 1.12, 1.23). combined available from observational is an increased risk ALL. For elevated at both low extremes suggesting a U-shaped association.
