摘要: Chronic mitral regurgitation (MR) is the most prevalent valvular lesion in adult US population. Appropriate patient selection for intervention and of appropriate interventional strategy optimal periprocedural management rely on thorough clinical evaluation, accurate echocardiographic input, in-depth understanding chronic MR pathophysiology part cardiac anesthesiologist. The recently published Expert Consensus Decision Pathway was designed to provide tools help clinician with broad decision-making, including referral, present review focuses elaborates key aspects relevant anesthesiologist peri-interventional setting.
