摘要: Abstract Ce 23 Ru 7 Zn 4 was obtained by melting of the elements in a sealed niobium ampoule an induction furnace and subsequently slow cooling muffle furnace. The structure refined from X-ray single crystal diffractometer data at room temperature can be described Pr Ir Mg type structure: P 6 3 mc ,  = 985.7(1), c  = 2215.0(3) pm, wR  = 0.0577, 2481 F 2 values, 75 variables. Like often for intermetallic Ce–Ru compounds, also distances (252 pm) far below sum covalent radii (289 pm) observed. Such behavior only explained partly tetravalent cerium this is confirmed susceptibility measurements. According to Curie–Weiss fit valence 3.11(3) could calculated no magnetic ordering down 2.5 K found.
