摘要: In this work, a multicommuted flow analysis procedure is proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of cobalt in fresh water, employing an instrument setup downsized dimension and improved cost-effectiveness. The method based on catalytic effect Co(II) Tiron oxidation by hydrogen peroxide alkaline medium, forming complex that absorbs radiation at 425 nm. photometric detection was accomplished using homemade light-emitting-diode (LED)-based photometer designed to use cell with optical path-length 100 mm improve sensitivity. After selecting adequate values system variables, adherence Beer–Lambert–Bouguer law observed standard solution concentrations range 0.13–1.5 µg L−1 Co(II).
