摘要: Objective To investigate the predictive value of body mass index (BMI) combined with waist circumference (WC) for new-onset nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in patients type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). According to baseline BMI WC, divided into group A (with normal WC), B but elevated C WC) D WC). The 4 groups followed occurrence by reviewing their reports examinations during periods 2008-2009, 2010-2011, 2012-2013, 2014-2015 2016-2017. cumulative incidence compared across Cox regression analysis used test correlation WC new onset NAFLD. Results increased progressively (50%, 66%, 68% 77%, respectively). showed that A, B, had risks after adjusting age, gender other risk factors, HR values 1.62, 1.98 2.47, respectively. Conclusions Elevated are both independent factors diabetic patients, combination has greater than either them alone.
