Sampling and distribution pattern of citrus rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora Ashmead (Acari, Eriophyidae) using, adhesive tape method.

摘要: In order to evolve a better sampling technique for citrus rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora Ashmead, an adhesive tape method was evaluated. The number of mite counted following this or by direct counting the mites on fruits not different. As were trapped motionless tape, they could be easily since these in turn stuck microscopic slides and observed under high magnification. Further stored refrigerator longer time when convenient. Thus, proved easier, more accurate reliable than assess population. For studying population method, used results revealed that distribution pattern three regions fruit (top, middle & bottom) followed similar pattern.
