摘要: SummaryAim This study investigated whether perceived weight discrimination is associated with increased risk for major chronic medical conditions and the associations persist after adjusting other stressful life events in addition to BMI, physical activity sociodemographic variables. Methods The included 21 357 overweight/obese adults (52.9% women) from 2001 2002 2004 2005 National Survey of Alcohol Related Conditions. Results Perceived was significantly arteriosclerosis, diabetes, high cholesterol, myocardial infarction, minor heart stomach ulcers. Perceived reporting more events.
