摘要: A framework to quantitatively assess the sustainability of coastal systems is presented. The makes use concept vulnerability (here illustrated by geomorphological vulnerability) and has been formalised into a long-term assessment framework, BEACH-CVA, composed two modules: longterm evolution model fuzzy-logic module. It specifically developed for Ebro delta, low-lying Mediterranean coast subjected high intensity dynamics, but general enough be applied similar environments. tool different stretches (i) wetland located in erosive area (ii) barrier experiencing landward rollover with man-induced alterations its natural dynamics. proven successful at assessing vulnerability, provided an accurate prediction proper parameterisation implications on resources and/or uses.
