摘要: Abstract The general problems of producing a national atlas are discussed and illuminated with specific examples. Organisation, compilation generalisation, selection contents, scales, other basic issues treated in the first place, these followed by an examination more subtle cartographic design, colour, presentation statistics. A provisional table contents is appended.
