摘要: A new methodology for modeling articular tibio-femoral contact based on the recently developed asymptotic model of frictionless elliptical interaction between thin biphasic cartilage layers is presented. The mathematical extended to case arbitrary viscoelastic incompressible coating layers. approach requires use smooth surface geometry and efficient points detection methods. generalization influence theory method representing surfaces from unstructured noisy data proposed. normal forces are determined analytically exact solution modeled as effective geometrical characteristics introduced in models surfaces.
