摘要: This article argues the case for a new approach to analysis of regions. It highlights how region is constantly being denned and redefined by its members in permanent discourse with each member attempting identify itself at core region. The defined both territorial functional terms this definition necessarily involves manipulation knowledge power. building utilizes literature on nation-building genealogical writings anti-foundationalists. does not, however, attempt place study regions international relations footing or replace what are arguably two dominant approaches existing literature: an ‘inside-out’ focusing cultural integration ‘outside-in’ geopolitics.
