摘要: Introduction. Rho kinases (ROKs) cause calcium-independent modulation of smooth muscle contraction. A significant role for the RhoA/ROK pathway in mediating contraction penile erectile tissue has been suggested. Moreover, it postulated that ROK activity might represent a key factor pathophysiology dysfunction. Up until today, little is known on significance and related proteins control blood flow corpus cavernosum. Aim. To investigate by means immunohistochemistry organ bath studies human cavernous arteries. Main Outcome Measures. The expression ROK1, ROK2, RhoA, RhoGDI arteries was investigated immunohistochemistry; myographic were conducted order to characterize effects inhibitor Y27632 isolated Methods. Specimens processed RhoGDI. Circular vascular segments mounted increasing concentrations tension induced norepinephrine (NE, 1 µM) investigated. Results. Alpha-actin immunoreactive arterioles also presented abundant staining specific musculature wall. Cumulative addition dose-dependently reversed NE arterial segments. produced relaxant responses with reversion 34.3 ± 11.8% at concentration µM. Conclusion. findings are support Rho/ROK-mediated signaling regulation tone Waldkirch ES, Uckert S, Sohn M, Kuczyk MA, Hedlund P. kinase (Rok)-related arteries: An immunohistochemical functional approach.
