摘要: A software clock capable of self-evaluating its synchronization uncertainty is experimentally validated for a specific implementation on node synchronized through NTP. The validation methodology takes advantage an external equipped with GPS-synchronized acting as reference, which connected to the hosting system under test fast Ethernet connection. Experiments are carried out different values parameters and types workload, address possible occurrence faults in NTP mechanism. designed be less intrusive grant resolution order few hundreds microseconds. experimental results show very good performance R&SAClock, their analysis gives precious hints further improvements.
