摘要: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is recommended for preventing HIV infection among individuals at high risk, including men who have sex with (MSM). Although its individual-level efficacy proven, questions remain regarding population-level impact of PrEP implementation. We developed an agent- based simulation transmission MSM, accounting demographics, sexual contact network, disease stage and use antiretroviral therapy. used this framework to compare delivery strategies in terms on incidence prevalence. Our results suggest that if delivered exceptionally coverage under adherence, can a major immediate the rate population. However, more realistic assumptions alone much modest - emphasizing importance other interventions local epidemics are be brought control.
