Hypertrophy of the heart of unknown etiology in young adults: Report of four cases with autopsies

摘要: Abstract 1. Four fatal cases of unexplained hypertrophy and dilatation the heart during third decade life are presented. None usual causes were present. 2. The onset illness differed in individual was not at first recognized as disease. 3. Electrocardiograms normal. When changes occurred, abnormalities suggested only nonspecific myocardial damage. 4. possible etiologic factors discussed, but it is concluded which, if any, responsible for cardiac hypertrophy. 5. There no certainty that disease four related.
