摘要: New and alternative oil crops must be explored for extending the horizon of plant based fuels increasing number engines in agriculture sector. To preserve biodiversity, locally available need to identified evaluated its biodiesel potential. In this study, one such crop, i.e., Hibiscus cannabinus (Ambadi) was selected exploring potential used as fuel diesel engines. The is found good properties methyl ester (biodiesel) are well within range prescribed by ASTM. so prepared posses 8% lesser heat content when compared on volume basis but thermal efficiency specific consumption improves with blend 20% (B20). Improved combustion regimes also seen blends.
