摘要: Many northern forests are managed with the objective of achieving and maintaining sustained yield. Sustained yield management implies continuous production so planned as to achieve at earliest practical time, a balance between annual growth harvesting. It is often argued that silvicultural prescriptions, protection from natural disturbances, responsible will allow wood harvests other benefits be elevated in long term, thereafter maintained increased levels indefinitely (when compared unmanaged forest growing similar environment)
