摘要: This chapter presents a theoretical perspective on the roles of law in evolution planning systems. Three main are distinguished: can enable, delimit and codify planning. How these play out relate to each other system, will differ by community. In four scenario’s we discern key points regarding relation between evolving spatial governance. Understanding different planning, their interplay adds scientific societal debates law, where hitherto polarizing discourses (planning vs law) dominated discussion. More broadly, our enabling, codifying delimiting functions sheds new light potential limitation both shape future communities.
