摘要: BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Evaluation of images perineural tumor spread in patients with head and neck malignancies is essential for planning treatment determining the patient’s prognosis. Although communications between facial trigeminal nerves are not widely known, they may provide a route growth. The purpose this study was to elucidate course auriculotemporal nerve, as well clinical imaging findings that suggest involvement communication nerve mandibular division (V3) nerve. METHODS: Images 15 or radiologic suggestive along were reviewed. Involvement main trunk V3, cistern, ganglion adjacent anatomic structures noted each patient. RESULTS: described detail. More than 50% had signs dysfunction, including periauricular pain temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction tenderness. 13 such demonstrated growth V3.. CONCLUSION: Knowledge critical evaluating Periauricular pain, TMJ tenderness, V3 important indicators potential
