摘要: Ligand-dependent and ligand-independent endocytic trafficking of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) is critical for accurate receptor-mediated signaling its regulation. Metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) a GPCR that plays crucial role in circuit formation the brain also various forms synaptic plasticity including learning memory. Outside central nervous system this very important other non-neuronal cells like heart cells, skin hepatocytes, etc. Although ligand-mediated endocytosis mGluR5 has been studied some detail, ligand-independent/constitutive not properly studied. Here, we have investigated constitutive sub-cellular fate subsequent to internalization. We show here undergoes internalization HEK293 cells. Following endocytosis, enters recycling compartment no localization was observed lysosome. In addition, report most recycle cell surface Thus, our data demonstrate internalize without application ligand internalized back following endocytosis.
