摘要: All-optical network is a very promising candidate for core architecture of future Internet, by supporting high speed, cost-effective, large capacity, and various traffic services. One the light-path communication architectures, optical circuit switching (OCS) would dominate Internet due to many merits such as reliability hardware technologies so on. There are two distributed basic methods in OCS. source-initiated reservation (SIR) other destination-initiated (DIR). However, SIR over-reserves unnecessary wavelengths wavelength selected DIR be interfered requests. Therefore, this paper, we propose robust establishment scheme internet: greedy (DIGR), which collects global channel information at first reserves certain number from destination reduce blocking probability. We show that DIGR method could improve performance compared with previous schemes via simulation.
