摘要: Abstract Surface structural chemistry of various high Tc superconductors was investigated by resolution electron microscopy. decomposition commonly found on the crystals. However, clean surfaces could be generated beam annealing. The (001) all compounds appeared to terminated with non-superconducting layers. In HgBa2CuO4+δ, original surface covered disordered BaO and CuO a 2:1 ratio Ba:Cu as detected energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis. This coating recrystallized into Ba2CuO3 microcrystals became intergrown bulk HgBa2CuO4+δ following irradiation.
