摘要: The advent of multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) revolutionized abdominal imaging. In particular, the definitive assessment CT injection protocols, for evaluation liver parenchyma, is still a critical issue radiologists. Over last years, this feature encouraged several authors to address their efforts find most accurate delay between contrast medium and effective scan-start, identification characterization lesions. Technological developments present century such as number slices, submillimetric collimation, use multiple dynamic post-contrast phases per single examination, may all contribute increase radiation exposure patients. aim review propose imaging taking into consideration different clinical needs patients with chronic disease, healthy focal lesion, oncological minimize exposure. Finally, two recent innovations in MDCT which illustrate potential application multi-energy (MECT) perfusion (CTp) when evaluating parenchyma will be discussed short closing paragraph.
