摘要: Abstract Interest in a novel biological agent fucoxanthin (Fx) has been growing recent years, which connects Fx to increases energy expenditure and implications for the management of obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Several molecular targets offer most hope influencing expenditure. One keys success will be uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1). can reduce excess fat accumulation abdominal white adipose tissue (WAT), is primarily based on up-regulation thermogenesis through UCP1 expression both brown (BAT) WAT. down-regulates pro-inflammatory adipokines involved insulin resistance from WAT subsequently normalizes blood glucose level. In addition, promote utilization skeletal muscle by up-regulating transporter 4 (GLUT4) promoting its translocation cell membrane cytosol.
