摘要: Abstract Dry-seeded rice cultivation is an effective low-cost method in Japan, but preventing water leakage from cultivated fields remains a challenge. Here we assessed the efficiency of using vibratory roller dry-seeded field for leakage. The tests were conducted at two different soil-water contents (WC: 32 and 39%) before compaction. We measured acceleration response vibrating by micro-electro mechanical system (MEMS) accelerometer, determined volume rapid capacity tester. analyzed changes soil structure micro-focused X-ray CT scanner. all resulting data to identify any correlation. observed that was sufficiently prevented when prior compaction, moisture content 39%. shape pores could efficiently prevent flatter than inefficiently compacted soil. In addition, total porosity decreased, small-sized pore fraction increased. vibration significantly increased with decrease Thus, addition assessing rollers reducing leakage, our suggest it some extent possible estimate prevention effect roller.
