摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the current definitions of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disorders (LD) considers state-of-the art methods for their assessment. It also presents various innovative, nontraditional assessments ADHD LD directed by new hypotheses, theories, discoveries that may shape revisions official in future become accepted assessment LD. In a categorical system, diagnosis (classification) is based on presence abnormal patterns behavior assumed to be qualitatively different from pattern normal population, with clear boundaries between classes are mutually exclusive high within-class homogeneity.
