Automatically Determining Semantics for World Wide Web Multimedia Information Retrieval

摘要: Search engines are useful because they allow the user to find information of interest from World Wide Web (WWW). However, most popular search today textual; do not images web. For effective retrieval, determining semantics is essential. In this paper, we describe problems in on WWW and approach AMORE, a engine that have developed. AMORE's techniques can be extended other media like audio video. We explain how assign keywords based HTML pages method determine similar assigned text. also discuss some statistics showing effectiveness our technique. Finally, present visual interface AMORE with help several retrieval scenarios.
