摘要: Shortage of drinking water is chronic, severe, and wide-spread in the regions Northern Africa, Middle East, Central Southern Asia. Conventional processes like MSF RO require large amounts energy form thermal (for MSF) or electric power RO). Most desalination plants using these technologies are fossil-fuel driven. This results a carbon footprint for plant, sensitivity to price availability oil.
