摘要: This chapter focuses on the relationship between disturbances caused by native forest–defoliating insects and forest dynamics, which is recognized as an important part of tritrophic interactions, especially for spruce budworm system. A good model to consider in this regard outbreaks ( Choristoneura fumiferana Clem.) dynamics boreal forest. It should be noted that predictions are based comprehension past events under assumption known variables such climate will vary within some range fluctuations. In context recent changes may result unprecedented temperature aridity, things could completely different. However, growing knowledge understanding population relationships lead better what occur changing environmental conditions.
