摘要: Being located in central part of the Himalayan ranges, Nepal is regarded as one earthquake-prone countries region. Earthquake a major concern because rapid population growth, poor land use planning, precarious settlement patterns, and poorly implemented building code. Earthquakes have been reported since 1255 while earthquakes were recorded 1408, 1681, 1810, 1833, 1866, 1934, 1980 1988. Recent earthquake September 18, 2011 measuring 6.9 Richter scale killed 6 people injured 30 Nepal. There many roadside slope damages near epicenter area.
