摘要: Peat is used in olive-tree nurseries as a component commercial growing media. Environmental and economic pressures are questioning the use of peat substrates. In order to remain competitive satisfy environmental concerns, it necessary identify evaluate possible alternatives peat. This study involves Azolla filiculoides , media olive ( Olea europaea L.) for containerized plants. Four treatments were established, based on addition increasing quantities (0%, 25%, 50%, 100 %). Were determined some physical chemical properties media, growth, physiological parameters nutritional state The significantly affected by content. Nursery-produced plants grown substrates supplemented 50 % displayed linear growth total biomass production greater than those control medium. research indicated that might be suitable substrate containers.
