摘要: Future energy security and CO2 emissions investigation models indicate that the best option for Egypt is to adopt a mitigation strategy by using geothermal as an source mix implement efficiency policy. The hydrothermal potential estimated be of order 158 × 106 kWh while El Faliq high heat-generating granite has generate billion electricity. Through these two sources, country can mitigate reduction 20 million tones provide sustained freshwater domestic, agricultural industrial sectors. in future may have address important issues such guaranteed electricity supply meet growing population agriculture demand. current situation indicates Nile River not able sustain demand due uncertainties monsoon pattern storage capacity. A renewable (geothermal) implementing sound efficient policy agricultural, transport domestic sectors will help food water country.
