摘要: We report the self-organization of microfluidic emulsions into anomalously homogeneous structures. Upon periodic driving confined undergo a first-order transition from reversible to an irreversible dynamics. evidence that this dynamical is accompanied by structural changes at all scales yielding macroscopic yet finite hyperuniform Numerical simulations are performed single out very ingredients responsible for suppression density fluctuations. show that, as opposed equilibrium systems, long-range nature hydrodynamic interactions not required formation patterns, thereby suggesting robust relation between reversibility and hyperuniformity which should hold in broad class periodically driven materials.
