摘要: Abstract This paper reports the results of a study on morphology, size and homogeneity bacteriophages used for typing Staphylococcus aureus . Fifty-five were studied. Preparations electron microscope made directly from lysates or purified concentrated bacteriophages, contrasted with neutralized phosphotungstic acid (KPT) examined under an at × 40000 microscopic magnification. The studied differed regard to shape. classified into two morphological groups: BI BIII. In group, three types distinguished: BI4, BI5 BI6. Only one type was distinguished in BIII group 1 , designated by symbol BIII2. 42C, 70 D contained virions types: BI6 Until now, it is not clear whether are mixture different virions, they represent variation their heads. Of 55 studied, 25 other investigators. showed that 5 belonged types. It concluded sets standard should be checked means microscope.
