摘要: Genetic control of the leaf chlorophyll concentration (LCC) in tropical maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes has not been established, especially at different reproduction growth stages under low and high nitrogen (N). A generation mean analysis study was conducted to identify genetic effects that govern LCC from mid-silking physiological maturity (120 kg N ha−1) (60 (N) regimes for two seasons a randomized complete block design with replications during main offseason year 2009 Inyala Agricultural Training Institute Mbeya, Tanzania. This revealed mid-parent heterosis increased both dosages but it more pronounced dosage. Generally, were easily estimable than Additive gene decreased stage, whereas dominance increased, irrespective genotype regime. All except × interaction significant some only cross T20 NG8. The ratio fixable (additive plus additive additive) non-fixable (dominance dominance, dominance) 74–26 % dosage, 35–65 dosage C58, while NG8, 37–63 20–80 trend observed suggest are preponderant one cross, prevailed other cross.
