摘要: The vascular permeability response induced in the rat by intracutaneous histamine or serotonin is noticeably influenced previous adrenalectomy treatment with corticosterone. Permeability responses were demonstrated local exudation of circulating Evans blue at sites injection above factors, intensity being assessed diameter lesions as well amount exuded dye. In adrenalectomized rats maintained for 72-80 h on 0-9% solution NaCl, to was enhanced about 10-fold, that 5-fold. When given subcutaneous corticosterone, 1-0 mg/animal 1 before testing, same 2 factors decreased 10-fold and 5-fold respectively. Corticosterone also levels somewhat below those mock controls. results support proposal from other work experimental inflammation regulated an anti-inflammatory factor accumulates injured tissues owes its effect release corticosteroids.
