Seventeen Sami herders in four herding communities Sweden (“samebyar” Swedish) were interviewed plants species considered important food scientific literature. Among 40 plant species, which the informants asked identify and indicate whether when they grazed by reindeer, identified a total of 21 taxa five groups. They especially recognised that used as human themselves, but certain specific also identified. Detailed vascular at level surprisingly general, may pasture detailed is not vital importance. This fact sharp contradiction people express for example (as an animal) or snow physical element). The plausible explanation observations individual are unnecessarily information large-scale pastoralism, because animals graze freely under loose border surveillance.
